About AGI Watch

AI 2027 is one of the most concrete public forecasts of the road to AGI — detailed enough to be graded. AGI Watch turns it into a plain-English planning signal: what happened, what slipped, and what should a founder do next?

Principles

• Grade, don't cheerlead. We report the pace the data supports — ahead, behind, or on track.
• Show your work. Every number links to its source; estimates are marked "~" and explained in the methodology.
• Log every change. The changelog records what moved and when. No silent edits.

AGI Watch is built and maintained by Ryan Shaw, who builds AI businesses and writes about applied AI. It is an independent project — not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the AI Futures Project or any AI lab.
